Our Story
Dreams Co® was founded in 2001 by a mother-daughter team who shared a passion for luxury loungewear. Sarah and Emily loved the feeling of slipping into a soft, beautiful nightgown or robe at the end of a long day. But they were disappointed by the limited selections available at the time. Most loungewear was either overly casual or overly revealing. They dreamed of creating elegant yet comfortable pieces for women like themselves—items that made them feel pampered and luxurious in their own homes.
With a shared background in fashion design, Sarah and Emily began handcrafting a small collection of pajamas, nightgowns and robes using the finest fabrics. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure the utmost comfort while still looking and feeling indulgent. Their initial offerings were an instant success at local boutiques. Women raved over the buttery-soft modal fabrics, fluid drapes and delicate details like covered buttons and lace accents.
Encouraged by the enthusiastic response, Dreams Co® expanded into a full loungewear line that included coordinating sleepwear and intimates. We also moved into our own design studio and production facility so we could oversee every step of the process. Our in-house team handles everything from initial concept sketches to patternmaking, cutting, sewing and finishing. This hands-on approach allows us to maintain our meticulous standards of quality. It also enables us to quickly adapt our designs based on customer feedback.
Over the years, the Dreams Co® family has grown to include many talented designers, sewers, production supervisors, customer service reps and more. But our commitment to creating beautiful, comfortable loungewear remains the same. We work hard to evolve our collections while preserving the luxurious feel and feminine aesthetic that our customers know and love.
